Mossy Cave is a natural grotto and shelter cave that bears icicles in the winter and lush moss in warmer weather. Before reaching the cave you’ll discover a fork in the trail that leads to a nearby 15-foot waterfall. While most visitors come to see Mossy Cave, it is the waterfall and stream that gets them to stop and play for a bit. Feel free to get your feet wet and explore around the falls. The surroundings of this pretty area are wooded and showcase interesting rock formations up close. This serene area of Bryce Canyon National Park is often overlooked by most visitors making it a perfect escape from both the crowds and the heat.
