A short and steep paved path leads to Weeping Rock, an overhanging rock alcove with endless dripping water and lush hanging vegetation. Water from a natural stream above slowly makes its way through the porous sandstone where it is forced to “weep” down the rock. There are other weeping walls found in Zion National Park that you’re likely to encounter, but this is the largest and most impressive with a viewing platform directly below. Weeping rock is a pretty side trip and well worth a visit!
